Sugarcane Restaurant

Made take out order wrong. When I returned home and opened food I realized it was wrong. My bad for not checking. Came back and sever told me he would fix it for ‘no charge’. What? You screwed up my order, don’t make this like you are doing me a favour. Had to fight to get a comp’d salad (which was the messed up order), explaining I had to drive 10
Minutes to and from the restaurant to fix their error. Food is fine, not worth dealing with staff tho. Go elsewhere.

Poolside drink service comes standard with the epic views of the Caribbean. When you're ready to dine, step up to the bar, the man-made beach area, or the expansive deck. All offer great views and cool breezes.

We spent the day in virgin gorda and decided to try to place out. The pizza was amazing! Our sever was the sweetest. They gave our friend, who was celebrating her birthday a cheerful birthday song and slice of cake. Would definitely come back! Thank you

Great food, service, and atmosphere. It was quite warm the day we visited, so the dip in the pool after we ate was perfect.

We visited the place off of our boat. Landing dinghy on the beautiful and calm west side. Climbed up step road to awesome views, exceptional service and above average dining. You overlook the Dog island and the east Anchorage where the Kraken wreck is.
Perfect sunset dining location. Tuna was cooked to sashimi perfection and any cocktail on menu is worth it.

We had a large party (18) that reservations had been made for. When we all trickled in at 7pm the service started out great. Great drinks. The place was packed (all tables were full). We all ordered our entrees around 7: 30pm. After that service disappeared. It was over an hour before we were asked if we wanted another round of drinks. We started to notice the length of time passing at this point mainly because there were only a few tables of 2 to 4 people left at this point (not including ours). Around 9: 30pm we were still waiting for our food orders. Our party host went to find out why the food was taking so long and also had to ask for another round of drinks for the table. He mentioned that the management said we should have pre-ordered. When the reservation was made no one mentioned anything about a need for preordering. The food made it out about 10 minutes after the host went to check on it. After we all finished eating they offered a free round of drinks for the wait but by this time most of the party just wanted to leave so only a few people accepted the drinks. Needless to say the night dragged on much longer than we were ready for. Hopefully they learn from this and no one else has to have a good night dragged down by bad service.

Food was 100x better than the trip advisor top rated restaurant. Great service too. From the several places we've tried on the island we thought this was best. We sampled a good portion of the menu including the Mahi tacos, truffle fries, conch fritters, coconut shrimp, Greek salad, grouper main, lobster pasta, mahi main, and fresh baked cookies. All were very good.

The ambiance is simply welcoming and what I had for a three course lunch was excellent! Appitizer was tostonis with a refreshing salsa. Main course was a burger with stuffed cheese and the desert was not too sweet. I'll go back to try something different

The view is spectacular! It was by far one of our favorite places for food, staff, drinks, swimming in the pool overlooking the islands in the distance and the chef made me a special lobster I requested so I felt special. It has a nice bar, lots of different places to eat and relax. Love, Love, loved it! We will be back!

Great Cocktails! We only had two appetizers between a few of us - so not reviewing the food here. But the cocktails were awesome! Recommend the margarita with chaser (but maybe stop at two of those instead of three). Our server was great, and the atmosphere is gorgeous.its a must visit stop.

This is a great vista place for a casual lunch. Varied menu, great cocktails. Good service. And that view! Worth a visit.

I came to BVI for sailing, stopped into Sugarcane for dinner and wasn't sure what to order. The waitress said "Fettuccine Alfredo, best you ever had. " I'm from Philadelphia, we know Italian food better than most places in the world and I told her as much. She said she would bet me a Painkiller on it! Well the food came, she's staring over my shoulder and damn, It's one of the best Alfredos I've ever had. I bought her the painkiller I owned her, met the chef Snoopy and left happy. You will too.

Came here for dinner with my family last week and wasn’t super impressed. Service was incredibly slow - it took 10-15 min before anyone came to take our drink order. Food was fine but nothing noteworthy. Very pretty views so don’t be in a hurry!

You don't have a lot of options for dining on Virgin Gorda, but this is a fine pick with a unique setting high on the island. Take a dip in the pool or wait out a brief rainstorm in beauty and comfort.

Island spiced pumpkin pie? Awesome! Chocolate chip cookies? Fantastic! Oh, and the Mahi Mahi, steak, and pizza were each great. Enjoyed the margs too.

Drinks were great. Appetizers were good. Food for all of us was overcooked and little taste. Service was worse. Go have drinks and appetizers and forget the meal as the location is beautiful.

Amazing experience. The ambiance and lighting were delightful and the food, especially Joe's recommendations, was delicious. Joe also had an excellent rum suggestions. 14/10 would go back.
